First, let me start by saying how great it was that we were able to attend this event!Our Vice President, Carolyn found out about this event maybe two days before and it happened to fall on the date that we had initially planned our next book discussion. We were absolutely thrilled to meet these two lovely authors! We truly enjoyed the question/answer session and listening to what inspired them to write the wonderful stories that they do. Trisha Thomas author of the Nappily Ever After, which is a series, came all the way from Cali and Kimberla Lawson Roby , author of the infamous Curtis Black Series, from Chi-Town. It was a great pleasure to see these women who brought such a warm and inviting spirit to this event. Both of the authors' books sold out and the line was incredibly long to get our books signed but it was all worth it! Shout out to Tonya Terry, WSFA news anchor, for hosting such a lovely event.
